Prayer for the UISG Plenary Assembly 2025
Lord Jesus, on behalf of your people, we pray,
in this world of joys and unbearable sorrows,
where gestures of tenderness and care
stand alongside fear and despair.
Help us not to turn away,
remaining steadfast in your love.
May we embrace each other’s pain,
learning to walk humbly, following your way.
Grant us your wisdom to discern,
courage to venture into the unknown,
and hearts that reflect your compassion,
becoming PILGRIMS OF HOPE.
In these uncertain and changing times,
You place your treasure in our fragile clay,
calling us to trust and do what you say,
because you make all things new.
GOD OF HOPE, lover of life,
fill us with your joy and peace.
By the power of your Spirit,
consecrate our lives
and make us bearers of hope:
a Hope that Transforms.
